Doom and Gloom in the Economy
September 19th, 2008You can’t help but hear these days about all the doom and gloom in the economy: issues with the financial markets, high cost of energy, rising unemployment — the list goes on and on. You may have concerns about the stability of your current position or just unhappy but nervous about entering the current job market. Do NOT let the media or Wall Street get you down! We are still seeing an incredibly vibrant job market in the technology sector — point blank, there are still not enough qualified IT people to meet demand. And if you’re a permanent resident of the US (green card or citizen), you have even more doors open for you — particularly with small, growing companies that are working with emerging technologies but may not have the resources (or patience) to deal with the visa process OR with government contractors. Maintain a positive attitude, work on your resume/CV, and start exploring new opportunities! There are many out there working with vibrant companies in up and coming industries. Check out our “jobs” page for current openings we’re working on and you’ll be just getting a sample of the opportunities that are out there!
